As storage space fills up, many users resort to buying additional storage or upgrading to a larger hosting package—which is often completely unnecessary!
This component allows you to identify these files, lists them for you, and offers both archiving and direct deletion right from the backend. When archiving, files are temporarily moved to an archive folder. You can access this folder to restore images if they are missed or delete them permanently.

Older websites in particular—especially those that have been migrated multiple times since the Joomla 3 era—often accumulate a lot of "data clutter" in the form of old, unused images or videos. Some are still buried in articles or modules, while others sit forgotten in a "media graveyard," no longer serving any purpose.
