Installation
1) Download Matomo On-Premise and set it up on your own web server. The installation process is similar to Joomla, with an installation wizard you can follow. Alternatively, you can register to Matomo Cloud with a 21 days free trial period.
2) Download the plugin on our website with the link on the right side of this page.
3) Install the plugin on your Joomla website (extension manager)
4) Enable the plugin and configure its settings with the information provided by Matomo (Site ID, Matomo URL and Auth token).

Introduction Matomo is an alternative to Google Analytics. It has a big emphasis on data protection and user privacy.
